have you got them to check the crank shaft sensors yet as it may well be these at fault, they can work intermitingly.
i have seen stalling issues caused by bothe cran shaft sensors and old idle control valves.

i'll text them and ask them to check. it doens run at all now. not been able to strat it since it broke on friday. they say it has a weak spark.. said they tried a new coil but that produced no spark at all. ta for help.

well they are making progress. the loom or somethin going to my ecu had burnt out. my ecu is away for testing. hope to get my car bk sometime next week.

Good stuff! Chances are your ecu will be ok unless it was completely shorted out! Lindsey Racing sell new wiring harnesses that are very good quality if you need them. Had to replace some of mine.

damn it. i need an ecu. old one was tested and is broke. anybody have one? can i get any one for a 1987 2.5? or do i need to take notice of the bosh no. dont know what the bosh no. is as the old ecu is at the testing place.. do i need to phone them and find out??.. or just get any ecu of same year and same engine type?
