 Post subject: Fuel Line Repalcement

Hi all

I need to replace my hard fuel line as it is leaking so im going to replace all the hard lines

Does anyone have any experience doing this as im looking for tips on fitment and what you used for the job

Got the same problem on my 83, not leaking yet but really not far off.

I was going to take the feed line off and take it to Pirtek and see if they can cut it back to good metal and join a flexi hose on after that. I think to get the old part off it will either need to be cut or the rear suspension dropped.

The state of mine means sneezing at it will probably snap it in half so I don't think that will be an issue.

Saw this link under a similar topic on the other Porsche club forum (the dark side) http://www.automec.co.uk/ apparently someone got a price for a set made up at £87 not sure of the details but might be worth giving them a try.
