having recently come from the vw sceneand i noticed a lot of vw running porsche wheels, well i want to turn the tables and run vw wheels on a porsche,am looking at fitting empi 5 spokes and just wondered if anybody on here had done it(you are probably asking the question why would you want to :D ) or maybe somebody could photoshop a set on a red 944

One TIPEC user did suggest doing this when an ebay seller put some CS wheels up for obscene amount of cash.

I am not sure if EMPIs would suit a 944 (worth a try I guess!) but if you;re going to do it, why not try some of the BBS wheels (assuming the PCD etc. is right).

Hi :)

I could be wrong but I think the offset is wrong on VW wheels...which is why they have to use spacers with Porsche wheels....worth checking first....

All the best Brett :)

Brett is right in this case. It could work if the poster has a pre 85 944 where he could then use the smaller offset of his car to space out the VW items.
