Hello All.
Took the 944S for MOT last Monday, thought all would be fine as I have owned the car for 6 months, bought the car with fpsh and serviced 5 day before I collected it + 0nly 6000 miles since the last MOT and have had no trouble since I have had it as my daily drive. The dreaded call, lower arm drivers side shot, handbrake 4% efficient and oil was pouring from under the car? The oil turned out to be the power steering fluid. After further investigation they found that the power steering pipe that runs near the front bumper had corroded. After 2 days on the workshop ramp I collected the car on Saturday, with a MOT pass. Spoke to the mechanic who repaired the car, he said that replacing the power steering pipe was one or the worst jobs he had done? Not to worry I have my car back now and all is fine. Just got to tell the missus £400 has gone from the bank + a good drink for the mechanic all on my pride and joy.
Ken.

That doesn't sound too bad for that lot. You have to expect it with 20+ year old cars. in my experience if it's not broken yet then it's about to go! Now you can enjoy for 12 months. :)
