That is hideous! The inside looks like a coal 'ole & it reduces boot space apart from looking dire. One question, WHY?

there's also a 968 with the same looking tailgate

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-PORSCHE-968- ... 286.c0.m14

"PORSCHE 968 TIPTRONIC COUPE WITH A FACTORY MADE REDUCED GLASS BACK DESIGNED AND SUPPLIED NEW TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER FROM THE DUBAI ROYAL FAMILY" quote from the advert. sorry it's 'shouting'

If that advert is correct and it is from the 'Dubai Royal family' it just confirms if you have money then all sense of style goes, you just have to spend your money on something no matter what it looks like! Have you seen the gold leaf Veyron's on PH

Makes my spoiler look tame now  which I'm just off to the paint shop to collect today :bounce: :bounce:

Well, I reckon there might be a very practical angle to having one of these on your car. Think hot desert sun. Think massive glass area. Think about how hot it was in your car (unless you have (working  ) AC of course) in the recent good weather. Starting to make sense?

Actually, I kinda like it... :bom:

It's disgusting, however each to his own as I always say to deflect any flack. Next thing you know, somebody will be putting an old Sierra XR4 spoiler on the back..... and even worse - somebody will say it's lovely.

I don't know about Caversham, but it's peed it down all week here in sunny Cheshire - and it's forecast to continue until the weekend at least, but then they can't actually forecast tomorrow accurately can they.

It's edited because I don't know what that blue thing is. Should say dis-gust-ing (without the spacers)

Couldnt' agree more. Must have a massive blind spot with that on. Trying to make it look mid engined when it isn't? Strange.

Someone please buy it and throw it in the nearest bay - preferably at high tide

Not one I'd be tempted to bid on. I was about to say that for a racer it would save weight but looking at it there is alot of fibreglass in it. So can't really see any redeeming features!

Kinda like Southern California. 85 degrees in the shade, palm trees bobbing in the gentle breeze, girls in hotpants rollerskating along the prom. Actually, it's nothing like that at all. Although we do have that girl who used to play Ashley's wife in Coronation Street living up the road. And Ulrika Jonsson drives thru occasionally. The glamour of it all... 8)

Ulrika Johnson - my brother was a finalist on Gladiators in 1994. I went to all the filming (it took five hours to film one show), and always went into the hospitality suite afterwards. I've got some nice pictures of Ulrika and I having a beer together. She was very pretty in those days and we chatted about Sweden and her career - if only I'd known then what I know now, the chat would have been a little different. Cheeky girl put her arm around me, so you see I was still an easy pull all those years ago . When she was on TV I would show my kids the photos and tell them I'd dumped Ulrika when I met Stefany, the current Mrs Ward.

I also have photos of Jet and I, she was very attractive.

She promised, and true to her word, Ulrika didn't mention me in the book

I was once chatting to Miss GB / UK at a wedding. I was doing really well (she was single) - but as usual blew it by saying the right thing in the wrong manner.... but that's another story.
