S2 - Cocked up again!! Is a 944 really an every day car?

Quick update for you all (if you're interested). Turns out that the new power steering pump recently fitted is the cause of the leak. The lads at Malton are going to fit and replace a new power steering pump free of charge - good result. I'll soon get the Exxon Valdez running smoothly again - 'till the next time and/or leak?

Glad you got a result. Keep the faith. you can't expect a 20 year old car not to have the odd Hiccup. You soon forget the pain when youir running again. :lol:

I'm trying to keep the faith. I was pretty frustrated last week when it all went Jugs to Jupiter again. I know the car will f*@k up occasionally but I didn't think I'd have so many niggly problems early on. Prior to buying the car, the previous owner had only been doing about 1000 miles/year in it. I wonder if I've started using it everyday, things have just started to go a bit? Anyway, onward and upward.
