I got mine from Porsche shop and I think it was there abouts £478 + I had to replace the mirror motors as the old ones wouldn't fit the OPC was about the same I found out after as well so it seems you're unlikely to get any new(ish) ones for less than £500 but they do look fantastic though.

Hi Ben,I remember meeting you at that Harewood show last year, glad to hear you are enjoying your car.It certainly is a nice one.Autograph Specialst Cars in Wakefield were supposed to be getting those mirror conversions in.worth a call on 0800 0125 731 ask for Jeff. Also there is a swiss based company http://www.deutschnine.com who may make those, they have a uk sales office number on that website.Regards John :)

Hiya John,

Glad to hear from you. I finally got round to joining TIPEC. Had the leaflet you gave me sat around for ages before I did anything about joining.

Anyway, thanks for the links. I'll look into it. How did you get on with the passenger seat? I seem to recall you had a small tear that needed a bit of stitching. Did you use Walker Upholstery in the end?

Cheers, Ben :bounce:

Quick update. Got in touch with Jeff at Autograph. (Very nice chap indeed). Apparently he's having these teardrop moulding bespoke made especially for the Porsche flag mirrors. They should be available in the next 8 - 12 weeks at around £50 each. 2 Styles available - Carbon fibre effect or primed ready for spraying. The idea is they will slip over the entire existing mirror and be held in place with mastic or silicon sealant. This is his cost effective solution to upgrading/retrofitting teardrop mirrors at a fraction of the cost. I don't know whether or not the proportions will look right though. I guess I'll have to wait and see and try a set to see how they will look. Will keep you all posted.
