Well after some much thinking and debating it has come a little of a sad day.
Both Dave and myself have been talking and both have decided that it would in our best interests to sell the 44 over selling the GTO.
With the GTO being alot newer than the Porsche we thought it would be best, and with funds being a little tight for both of us having 2 cars just isnt worth it at the moment.
I love the 44 to bits and as you all know we have spent alot of hours and as little amount of money as possible to get it where it is today. It still is and always will be a car i have taken pride in and I appreciate how you all have been at the shows and regional meets.

this isnt the last time you will hear or see either of us as we will still pop our heads around and see everyone.

Thanks Baz

In all honesty it was a little difficult a decision but practically it just better for us to use Daves car than keep the 44.
But if will still come to the meets and shows when i am available

Sad but your '44 needs a rebuild & the GTO doesn't. So it makes sence. All the best to you both anyhow. :) Hard times are coming. :(

I most probably will Jim.

And Richard I am sure things will be fine.

I suppose if things were a little different like i had a job that was full time and didnt pay me peanuts i would probably have kept her and finished her off but needs must and all that.

But you wont get rid of me that easily :P

engine rebuild is imminent either way. its fouling #1 plug within 3 days now so it can't go like that, the car needs to fund another so i reckon £300 later it will be fine. i'll chance things with a set of rings and head rebuild might aswell get steve to boil the block and crank too. it also needs a couple of rear wheel bearings so it might as well be worth something than scrap money.
