Can I get the bonnet up on my beaut.... can I 'ec as like.

Does any one have any advice/tips for removing the offending cover?

(Previously The bonnet was misaligned, I adjusted it and closed. Now it wont come up up if I pull the cable/bang on the bonnet etc. I have snapped the cable in frustration trying to pull harder!!!!)

Hi, it may be worth trying to get at the catch from under the car, using a long screwdriver. Its better than trying to get at it from the front and damageing the bonnet. Hope it helps. Matt

You can take off the plastic grill and get your hand up to the catch (just about) and pull on the cable enough to pop the bonnet.
Dirty and messy, but it worked for me
