... and who would be willing to pop over and check if these are Classic Grey as in my S2. I've asked the guy and he says that they are slightly darker than the photo. I think they should fit in the 944.

I haven't checked the auction, but what year car are they from? If it's early 90s (MY '91- I think) then they will be either Classic grey or Light grey, and Light grey is even lighter than Linen. Prior to the launch of those greys there was no grey available at least for a number of years.

I live just outside Gill' 5 mins away can call in anytime (self employed) I'll drop you a PM with my tel number. Can only look at condition though don't know about the fittings from a 911 to a 944 (electrics etc) are they interchangable?
