Repaired the rear hatch. New pins so now stays shut. And fitted new door switches so the central locking now works as it should. As does the alarm & interior light! Some little scroats sat on the bonnet & scratched it. But it will buff out. Tightend up the new hose as it was leaking a bit. Then gave it a wash & went for an all important test drive. :D Good day. Need to pull the clocks out next but it's getting dark. Bit of real progress for once. :)

Was a head set with a turbo head gasket. But the cam box gasket is cometic from Lindsey racing. Well worth the money as it's cured the oil leak properly & can't blow out. Not the best bit of design on the lux but that gasket is the answer.

Bits usualy come in 2 weeks. You have to wait for 1 week for customs. Don't forget to add VAT & shipping & a handling charge. The exchange rate makes a difference too.

...and some of them actually fit.

I gave up on Lindsey eventually because so many things needed fettling (from turbos to headlamp covers) and something that nearly fits but doesn't quite usually ends up being more work that something that was never intended to fit at all.

Never had any trouble. But mines not a turbo. Anything nonstandard it's worth giving Dave a ring first to see how difficult it is to fit. Bought a lot of stock oem Porsche bits as they used to be much cheaper. Engine wiring harness top quality. There are differences between LHD & RHD cars that can cause problems.
