I've just got my S2 back after 9 months in the car hospital. It's now rust free and shiney but has developed a battery draining fault during its holiday.
The climate control fan runs constantly on a very low speed even when the ignition is off which drains the battery.
The fan speed switch works as it should and the fan increases speed with each movement of the switch. I've taken the switch out and checked it out and the contact open and close as I'd expect.
I've also replaced the fan relay and checked over the resistor. if I lift the thermal overload switch the fan stops.
I can't seem to trace a wiring schematic to work out what else could be providing power.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or have any suggestions on what could be causing this?
Cheers
