Sure this has been covered before, but if you have a lost, missing or knackered wheel nut key for those pesky aloominum Porsche lock nuts..... Having found the BBS rims on my '85 firmly attached with Porsche lock nuts, and no key supplied with the car(annoyingly the box was there) I had to find a solution. Conventional remover just sheared the domed cap off, so found that a thin walled 12 point 22mm deep socket slghtly ground down to fit in the recess in the wheel works a treat. Hammer it onto the nut with a copper mallet, crack off with a breaker bar (don't use air tools on these, it will end badly) and voila! Pesky lock nut removed with no wheel damage
