I had issues getting mine off the other day and had to resort to violence to get the bugger off. Tried the correct tool on a ratchet but that slipped so I got my three legged removal tool which duly snapped under the pressure so I had to resort to tapping it around with a chisel which worked a little but then stopped. I then decided it was time to punch a screwdriver through it which did help a lot.
I normally just do them hand tight plus a little tweak but this time I torqued up to a figure i'd read but will never again.
