It seems 968 mirrors are as rare as hens teeth so does anyone have a good alternative?

putting 968 mirrors on a 944 is very much a 90's thing, many who have done so wish they hadn't, especially considering how much these cars are increasing in value these days. I would leave well alone but accept it's down to personal choice..

Thanks for the advice I may consider repairing mine but think it's past it. If I just replace one I need to get a colour match which made replacing both a more tempting option,

Series 2 MX5 mirrors are similar to 968 mirrors, mounts would need modifying though. I've got a pair in the garage.

So do I. The mirror pod is the same as a 993 but the mounts are different, found them on ebay a while ago, but make sure they are rhd. Changed the door handles as well. With a front splitter gives the gave a more modern look.

Yep I did the door handles too but painted them black as a nod to the originals.

I love the 968 door handles on both my cab and S2, i think its a great improvement, but it is down to personnel preference.

Trend is now to back date, not update cars - 911's. So when are you 944 boys going to start fitting 924 parts on your cars :D
