My car smokes when it is booted because the breather system from the crankcase through to the throttle body, the large bore 12mm tubing, is contaminated with oil. The plug colour is fine and the compression is also fine, but the tubing is full of this oily crap which is making its way through to the throttle body. There looks to be some sort of oil mist eliminator sat under the inlet manifold near the ISV, is this the cause of such issues and can it be cleaned/rescued without buying a new one?
