Not advisable when Mrs J.J. is about. Geting the old sealer off is a real pain. Knocked off the glass with an old wood chisel. Glass now clean & ready to reseal. The frame is harder to clean as it's so soft. Will get there in the end. Cleaning with emery after scraping with another chisel.
Anyone know how to get sticker flex out of the carpet?

Now you tell me. :blackeye: Might work on the bridge spoiler. That won't budge. (Bonded to the glass.)

Need the freeze spray. That stuff gets everywhere. Sat down for lunch & couldn't get up. It's bonded in. Got to wait for it to go off before i can clean it off. Not good. Was going ok till I had to turn it over. Then it was everywhere. This job is a total nightmare working on your own in the spare room. I don't recomend it. Better in a garage using the rear of the car as a jig. With two people. Should have given the job to you colt. Pay you when i win the lottery! As it is pretty sure it's stuck to the spare bed. :bom:

Thanks Dave. Will see what it's like in the morning. Hopefully still soft enough to come off with thinners. Might be the only '44 with a pink bed spread atached to the rear glass.

Actualy it's not looking too bad. Tiger seal went off fast. Cut most of the excess off with a stanley knife & a wood chisel. It's not going to wrattle thats for sure :D Brush cleaner shifted the bed spread  (Never did like the B thing.) The wifes on day off today. She just said "O" & laughed. Winner

I assume that there is only the bridge spoiler to go now

Be good to see the result of all your hard work. I fancy the bridge spoiler and two piece rear skirt for next year :P

Yes :| Bridge spoiler is still fixed to the old hatch. When I swap them over. Going to brick it  & attack the remains with a chisel. After a few trips to casualty should be fine :D Already drilled the new frame for it. :alien:

I picked up a two piece at TIPEC, needs fitting and spraying. Anyone know of a guide to fit them, looks like it could be tricky getting it aligned. Also considering a bridge spoiler, not a big fan of the rubber one.
