Hello there me and my dad recently picked up our first Porsche 944 as a project car. The car itself is a 'B' registered 944 2.5 auto, I have known about this car for a year and finally managed to buy it I paid 600 pounds for the car which I didn't think was too ad in all honesty. The previous owner said that it had overheating problems and that he just parked it up after that, this was 11 years ago. I personally don't think it looks too bad considering I was the first person to clean it in 11 years nevertheless I will let the pictures do the talking thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

That looks great! A timewarp car - a 1985 gem!
Keep us updated. Your picture of the engine might have helped me with my question regarding missing pipes!

It looks like a great project.
If it's been sat outside, i'd be changing the brake and fuel lines. they rot away when not left standing.

I purchased a 924S that had been stored in a damp garage for 12 years, so a similar project.
It's now running very well but did cost a bit to fully recommission, well worth it though

We have all new brake and fuel lines ordered :) and have already bought service items such as air filter, oil filter, spark plugs. I've also bought new discs and pads all round and a new battery so things are moving at a good pace
