hi all,

Ordered a new 'Sun Roof Seal Outer' from porscheshop.

Fitted it last night, It went on easy enough and fits the roof itself well, But when i put it back on the car i find the sunroof sits a few milli proud of the rest of the roof.

When you clip the front end in from inside the cabin that side of it sits down to the correct level. the side of the roof the lifters slide into still sits too high tho, they slide out underneath the roof rather than into it as they should

anyone got any ideas where i've gone wrong here? anything i can do?

i can take some pic's when it stops raining if needed.

You've done nothing wrong, they just take an aeon to bed doon I'm afraid.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as all four roof drains are fairly clear.

It would be worth pouring some warm water down 'em and checking it actually drops out the bottom.
