 Post subject: 968 milometer help

Hi everyone, I recently reset my milometer after filling up and now it's not working, help please!!!

The drive gear in the speedo head has stripped, get a new one and replace it.

What happens to the reset button? Does it come out or stay inside? If it stays in like mine did, it's a case of repositioning the sensor at the back. If not, then it may well be stripped gears.
