got x2 16v engines here, one snapped a chain, so likely going to use that as donor for my 924 turbo project and turbocharge it.

the other i will likely drop into another car i have which is originally a 2.5 16v.

i noticed couple of small differences.

water pump on one has blanked off, whereas the other has an elbow outlet

the bellhousing bracket has provision for 3 reference sensors, and the other 2

water pump seems to be a case of just blanking off the outlet,

looks like its just the sensor bracket thats different and has provision for an extra sensor, i think both 944s engines i have only use 2 sensors, one above the other. so hopefully will just be plug and play engine change
