Considering changing these as I don't think they have ever been done on my S2. I have noticed
Frazerpart do new ones for a sensible cost. Max has been good to deal with in the past but I was
wondering if anyone had any experience of them or a better alternative?

The car is road use only so I don't want anymore NVH introduced.

Thanks
KennyP

I have fitted the mounts from Frazerpart to my Lux, seem to be v good quality and very close in design to genuine parts at fraction of the cost.

Thanks Prophead, that's just what I wanted to read!

I think I shall get them ordered.

Cheers

This has been covered loads in the past on here: cheaper ones are voided rubber, OEM ones are oil-filled. The cheaper ones are less-refined at removing vibration so you'll notice a bit more shake and noise at idle but that's probably about it. Have a search as there's loads of info across the forums on this.

The meyle ones Max sells are hydraulic as are the OEM ones. The rest are either solid or hollow rubber. You'll be fine with the hydraulic meyle mount.

Thanks for all the feedback. I had done a wee search but couldn't find the ones Max offers
and his ad did state hydraulic.

I have since ordered them and will post up any findings once fitted which could be a while
looking at our weather forecast,,....

The Frazerpart ones are oil filled hydraulic ones, like i said very similar to originals.

Just a heads up to anyone looking at the Meyle mount, and this may already be common knowledge, the Meyle mounts sold by Euro Car Parts and Frazer Parts are both the same part number - 414 375 0001

The only difference is that they are £52.99 from ECP, or £36 from Frazer - shame I bought mine from ECP
