Hi all,

am considering fitting new washer jets as mine are pretty poor - looks like they've been prodded and poked so the outlets are very rough.

Enquired at OPC and got this reply...

The right nozzle is £23.44 and the left is £27.23 that’s retail inc you would get it for £21.22 and £24.51

Apart from them being a little pricey, does it make sense that each side is different?

Many thanks.

mine were very rough and did not jet correctly, after having a read around I used a jewellers drill with a .75mm bit in it to clean them out.

worked wonders

Thanks Waylander,

I think mine may be beyond that.

I guess nobody knows why they would be different part numbers/prices?

They will be sided Ian. There must be some difference or else the same part would be listed. So it either mounts different or the connector for the water pipe is in a different location. That would be my guesses!!

Stuart

Just had a quick look at PET, and it looks like there are heated and possibly non heated ones - the heated ones are different part numbers each side - so it could be as you suggest Stuart or something like a different length of wiring ??

Didn't even know they were heated - I guess I'll have to check on the car.

AFAIK they are all heated, I think the non-heated is NLA. It was a few years ago when I bought mine but paid around that.

For a few quid try cleaning them with the jewellers drill first, if you were close you could borrow mine

You might find you don't need new ones
