i've pulled the center consol out as the carpets are being changed, but can someone post a pic of their passenger footwell, as im sure the black plastic cover you can see attached to a bracket should be mounted to something else or attached differently? looks very out of place on its own, but I haven't seen a 944 passenger footwell to compare to! The bracket fixing is correct, that plus the 2 self tapper fixings shown on the RHS which are fixed to the centre consol is all it has.

ok thanks! but the 2 openings at the bottom of that piece do they not attach to anything? seems odd to have the holes there if they don't serve any purpose?

Looks rather tidier than mine ... do you have any of the three dangling relays you can see in mine - sunroof/radio, window lift and (I think) foglights - all optional extras, but surely the relays should be attached somewhere ?

Cant check mine for you to compare at present, the clutch has just been changed and the mechanic has gone on a 2 week holiday and we agreed to leave the car in his workshop whilst hes away as he may be looking at some sill rust on his return! saves me moving it in and out of my unit each morning at present!

The roof/radio relay should have a bracket on it which fixes to the inner end of the bracket holding the bottom of the dash above that filler piece at the beginning of the post, the red window relay clips to the upper side edge of the centre consol, not sure about the other
