924 Engine Required

Hi

Does anyone have a reasonable working 924 engine going spare, preferably in the Peak Distric area. The engine in my brother Jon's car has expired and he needs another. Also are there any recommendations for people to do the engine change as he is pretty clueless. He is going to ring PH Sportscars to see if they can help both with the supply and fitting of an engine, but any other suggestions will be gratefully received. I could do the work for him, after all its my old car, but he's in Longnor and I'm in Devon and the car's a non-runner.

Which engine? The 2.0 or the 2.5? I don't have either sorry but just so people know which he needs.

Its a 924 not an S so its the 2 litre.

Theres a 924 in Fairlea motors dismantlers. (Luddenden foot nr Halifax) Don't know what the engines like.

I have a 2.0 924 engine from a 1984 924 that i removed two months ago from a 89k car.

Its yours for a very reasonable price.

I also have all 924 parts from the car if required.
