Guys,
Collected whilst on holiday & fitted the above tonight, from a company called Seals Direct in New Milton Hants T01425 617722.
Very pleased with the fit & cost me £20.02 :D

Product code ETS58

Hope this is of use to anyone.

Regards

Hi,

No mastic whatsoever.
Would that be an issue?

Factory seal has a mastic bead to stop capillary action pulling water into the carrier and into the the car
Don't know if it is an issue or just Porsche overkill.

The new one is a good tight fit, if that helps.

you wouldn't see the mastic until after fitting so it may be there, take a close look to see if any white goo has spilled from the joint for confirmation of it's existence. £20 is very cheap though so perhaps there isn't any on this seal.
