Hello,
I am new to the forum but have owned my 944 since 1988 and covered 400,000 miles plus. I want to give it a treat as it's now 30 years old and am going to have the paintwork done. I am considering changing the existing spoiler for the bridge, one I like the look and it will stop water collecting if a leaf gets caught up. Any way this is my problem, I can find a number of replicas, of various styles. I would like an original really but probably couldn't afford it if I could find one. Or I buy a hatch with it already fitted. Can anyone provide the pros and cons please.
Thanks.

Iv had both eBay type replica in the past. 3 peace item was better off the two but I had use nuts and bolts to fit together to get a got fit. You need adjustment which you won't get screwing together. In all by the time u brought and fitted the replica item fill with expanding foam so it's not floppy. Your probley in for £200 then paint. Been fibre glass your prob get micro blisters later on.

A used one painted black with hatch for 300 isn't that bad. And can be swapped over in an hour
