I may be mental but my summer euro road trip is coming up and for the first time in many years I don't own a suitable car.

I'm considering 2 options; 944 S2 or a BMW 840ci.

Budget is limited but I'm after a car that can easily handle 3000 miles in a couple of weeks and have a turn of pace. The other 2 cars coming are a 73 911 RS rep and a TWR V12 XJS. Want to keep up!

Anyone selling anything interesting? I have 2 weeks before I leave which means a bit of servicing ok but not a project nor anything needing lots of work. Want belts done, working windows etc. Basically a good use able car.

Not fussed on colour or spec really. Nor mileage if it's been properly serviced and used!

Drop me a message if you have anything, am ready to buy the right car today.

Damn these flights of fancy. Oh well, it's how memories are made!

I did it in a series one. It was a hard 3,000 miles too. It had carpets, comfy seats and glass windows then, of course.
