Hi all
944 16v s is back off the road, lots of problems, lots of white smoke from exhaust, and forcing water out of pipes so think the head gasket failed.
plus oil cooler was freezing even after the engine had been running for 10 min's. (oil pump? ) the oil filter was hot.
i have taken the rocker cover off to find the oil j pipe snapped, ( best place to get a new one?)
i have taken out the cams, it had three striped cam cap bolt heads, had to chisel them round to remove them, so just need to crack the nuts on the head.
will let you know on the head gasket,

I would imagine the oil cooler wont come on untill fairly hot. 10mins of normal driving might not be enough.
