Feel that I should say what a difference having some new switches fitted, cost me £116 for them to take off my old worn, grotty ones, solder on the replacements, bench test and send back out to me. My dash is starting to look like it has just come out of the factory. Well pleased.

Wish I could post up more general pics but even at the lowest resolution and pixles setting on my camera, my pictures are still over 99kb, very frustrating! Why is it so low on this forum?

Get yourself a photo bucket account, post all your pictures up there then just post the links in the forum

No worries about picture size then, I have over 700 high res images on photobucket and still only used 20%

that's the later design switches are not soldered they just push in, although admittedly they do look soldered :D

The earlier unit with the coloured temp scale are soldered
does look nice with new switches installed :D

That is wierd. They told me they are doing more and more of these and alot of people think they are not soldered, but actually are. Oh well, still worth it though. Comes with a gaurantee too.

I think The price is very good removing the clear plastic bit without breaking it is very difficult and the switches are not cheap,

Here's mine in bits :D

You can see the why people think they soldered but the pins go through the soldered holes
Only on the later 944 and 968's

Are those two clear plastic bits different sizes? One looks longer than the other
