Hi all,

if you look at the bottom left of the photo of my S2 engine bay, you will see that one of the covers for the headlamp motor looks pretty ropey.

I have the parts catalog, but cant identify the correct item as it appears to be missing from the diagram.

Any ideas?

Also, can someone tell me what the hose going through the inlet manifold does and where it goes?

Many thanks

Hi Ian,

I think the part you need is 26 - as your motor relay cover is the one that looks perished. I replaced this too recently. The connecting cable and plug have to go through this rubber cover to connect to the motor. You have to take the pins out of the plug to feed the wire through and then refit into the plug as you simply cannot feed the plug through the hole provided - as it will tear the rubber. Good luck.

Excellent - thanks guys.

I think it was the square shape in the catalogue that convinced me that wasn't what I was looking for.

Kongsdoken, do you know what size Molex tool was needed for these pins - they seem to be available in several different diameters?

Thanks
