Hi there. I'm sure this has been asked a million times, and a quick google couldn't really give me the answer I was looking for. My 924 got smashed into this weekend and instead of replacing it with the standard wings.. I was thinking about going little wider. So eventually I can go for the CGT rear wings.

What would I need for the front?

I think it can be done, but it's not easy. The profile of the wings does not line up properly with the sill profile of the 924.

Hi

As above it can be done and people have completed it as part of a CGT replica and as much as the panel bolt on shouldn't create too much of a headache getting is blended with the rest of the car (sills, door lines etc) may cause some head scratching. Nothings impossible though!

good luck

Take a closer look at morghens car on 924OC or 924board.org. He's already done exactly what you are asking. As has Mike Gamble in using 944 wings with CGT front bumper. It's a well trodden path.

Thanks! Well literally had a look on eBay today for a 944 front bumper and a 924 carerra GT bumper came up for £30 quid buy it now. So without even hesitating I bought it. Needs spraying red but that's fine. I hope it will accommodate my ford mondeo FMIC though... Ha
