Did an old triumph race car have an accident on the track, I saw one being trailed away whilst I waited for the recovery truck.

Whose umbrella do I have?

Entirely the wrong kind of fun. I'm glad you're OK and hopefully the car isn't in too bad shape.

The umbrella is Mike Pollock's.

I passed by where I had my little excursion today and as the weather was better I stopped to take a some pictures. On Sunday I waited three hours before the car was finally collected, if you look carefully on the left you can see the kerb that as I slid towards the bank the wheel hit which swung the car back through 180 degrees. The police did offer a brew at the station whilst I waited for the recovery truck, below you can see why I stayed with it in the rain !!!!!!

And one looking back shortly before the truck arrived on Sunday.

I can see why you didn't want to leave it and from what Max said, after he'd arrived at Snetterton, the Police were being helpful and sympathetic?

I hope further inspection has backed up your initial conclusion that the damage isn't too extensive?

The police were very good and Max was really helpful. I still have one shoe here that has not dried out from Sunday lol. The car only arrived at the bodyshop this afternoon and they are going to give me a call tomorrow.

I have to say i'm not overly impressed with Equity Red Star's service so far.
