After seeing these on Tonys previous thread, I'm going to take the plunge.

My current originals were in need of some repair due to usual corrosion hot spots and the bonus of a rust free future makes sense to me. Plus they look very very cooooooooooooooool. They suit the black S2 of Tonys, but I think they will look every bit as good on my guards red S2.

I noticed there was a fair bit of interest on Tonys thread for these Teilecar vented wings from Poland, so I wondered if anyone else is ready to buy a pair? It might be worth a bit of discount.

Paul

they do take a bit of work to fit well and tons of sanding to get a flat finish

I went from wild to mild

Hi Roy, very nice finish.

Did you do any of the work yourself ? Did you have a full respray or the wings only?

I'd be interested to know what body / paint shop you used and where they are based.

Thanks

Paul

hi Paul,

I did all the work myself including full re-spray after fitting two new sills,

I put the wings on because taking off the factory wings was such an ordeal,

I pretty my wrecked the shape of the wings getting them off for doing the sills,

cheers roy

Do the Polish dudes do these wings for pre 85.5 cars?

If so what's the damage? Could be interested in adding a pair to your order if they're not silly cash.

I viewed a car last year with those wings fitted (a black 951) and they looked terrible in the flesh. They had horrible big panel gaps a and hideous orange peel finish that was so rough I doubt even a machine polish would flatten. They looked plasticky too. No.. Not for me. I wouldn't put any of those glassfibre panels on my car.

yes the lights are from Deutsche nine , as is splitter.

the wings can look great , It all depends who fits them and puts the time into prepping them prior to paint, you can get a good finish on them.

cheers roy
