Anyone have any recommendations for floor mats. Don't really want to pay out £100 for porsche ones but also don't want some cheap rubbish.

I got mine from Autostyle last year and they are excellent quality and fit perfectly :D

I went for the Premier Mats and had the PORSCHE text put on as a motif similar to the factory mats.

These were for my Silver Rose and the camera makes them look brighter than they actually are.

I still have my original ones and they are still in great nick. It would seem £100 is ok if they are still doing the business after 25 years!

My S has the OE ones in, and my Turbo has some cheaper alternatives with Turbo script.

I like the Turbo script on my cheaper ones, but they have no facility for floor anchors, so they move around too much.

The OE ones are excellent, good quality, keep still - only issue I have had is due to the thickness, sometimes they get caught under the seat when moving it forward (I'm a short arse!!).

So I'd at least get some that can use the OE floor anchors.

£100 is reasonable for the quality I'd say. I spent £80 on some for my S2k and after 6 months they look awful.

I spent ages looking for mats...mainly at shows and was always disappointed by quality. Went for Autostyle (who supply mats for some rather well known re-sellers) Think they cost £100 ish for the set but OE quality is worth paying for in my opinion

having said that the thirty five quid mats I bought for my polo have lasted 95000 miles!! Just started to wear from the heel...well impressed

I own an S2 and a Turbo. I swapped the OE mats over from each car and to my surprise, the front mats are a very slightly different shape! The Turbo mats fit in the S2 with a little gap either side, the S2 mats are slightly too wide for the Turbo though they will go. It seems the centre tunnel (for the driveshaft) on the Turbo must be bigger than on the S2.

I never see any mats advertised specifically for either car though, all seem to be universal. I wonder if Turbo mats and S2 mats have a separate part number...
