One of the workers there is a forum member on here (and I suspect probably the brains behind the Porsche sector of RS Sportscars ;)).

Detective skills are strong in this one^

I didn't post up on here ever as I didn't want to tread on anyone's toes.

I joined RS cars 2.5 years ago and they were a classic car specialist, things were getting quiet, its no secret that business in the bread and butter classics such as MGBs Morris minors ect.. were drying up and the scene shrinking.

I had always had a hobby business doing 80s & 90s Porsche/Audi/BMW and was going to invest in that and make a proper go of it, but struggled to afford a worthwhile premises. It made sense to invest my customers and knowledge into RS cars as it helped Richards business and gave me a real world trial of what I wanted to achieve, a Transaxle Porsche specialist.

RS cars have a very good body shop with highly skilled staff, the kind who can make panels from sheet metal and provide faultless paint. They also have technicians that I would allow to work on my own car (I have only ever met a handful I can say that about)

Both of the above have been trained by me on all aspects of 924/944 from things like how to remove door mirrors without cutting the looms to full blown engine re builds, conversions and the parts guys now know what parts are which and what fits what cars ect..

This is now running smoothly, we sell lots of 924 944 968 cars, some saved from a poor state, we carry lots of new and used parts, constant repairs and restoration going on, sills repairs, sunroof repairs, clutches ect ect..
Its really growing. (17 Porsche on the premises today) We have a some customers on TIPEC, and I thank you guys for your support.

Thanks for posting Stu, see you soon.

RS cars sorted my car out after I bought it. A bit of a sad tale to start porsche ownership with the need for a replacement engine but RS cars diagnosed the problems and fitted a replacement engine I sourced. Athey also fitted new belts and a new clutch. Still running fine. I've also got parts there.

Always some nice cars to look at while you are there too.
