Hi all,

Just popping in to say hi :)

Not a Porsche owner yet but looking at a 944 LUX on weds this week. It's going to be a weekend toy/resto project.

Its a 1986 944 with 63K and has been garaged for the last 3 years so at the moment a non runner :?

If the deal comes off i'm sure I will have some questions. I have found the buyers guide so will be taking that along with me to make sure I cover everything.

Anyway, Hi again :)

Jon

Hi and welcome.

Post some pics when you get the chance, and if you have any questions fire away - there's always someone who's had the same issues.

It might be helpful to getalong to your local TIPEC meet too - where abouts are you?

Enjoy the ride.

Good luck with the purchse. There's bound to be a few surprises with ownership but the smiles are worth it.
Great bunch here for answering queries too!

Thanks for the welcomes :)

To answer e few q's.... I'm based in Beaconsfield, Bucks and I work as a Paramedic for the London Ambulance Service based at Heathrow.

The car i'm going to see has been owned by an enthusiast and it's been well looked after, or so i'm told, and should be fairly easy to fire her up after a few years of being stored.

I will do the obvious pre fire up checks but fingers crossed :) It's a 1986 car with very low miles.

I will take some pictures on Weds and get your opinions etc.

Jon :D
