Just popping in to say Hi! took me long enough to join, I'm onto my fourth Porsche and not quite up to four years of being legally  allowed to drive!

I've owned in order of purchase -
'77 911 SC targa - sold to buy something newer and regret!
'00 Boxster S - sold as I decided to go to university!
'86 944 2.5 lux - was written off after being ran into :( but someone is putting her back to life as we speak :)

and my current 944 - Pixie!

Pixie one of the first oval dash model 944s made '85 and registered on the first of Feb '86. Kalahari beige metallic with rare fondmetal wheels, box sills, rear valance and front fogs. Very 80's I love her :D

Hi everyone thankyou for the welcome :)

Time at the pod wasn't great - 17.6 @ 80mph, think I can get her well into the 16's :) I've got quite frankly dangerous tyres on the car at the moment and launches were terrible! First time I'd ran the pod though discounting a run in an E46 BMW automatic so I know what to improve on for next time!

LOL on fastest colour, all my other cars have been Guards Red which I always thought was the fastest colour ;) Kalahari is MUCH more 80's cool though!

Hi and welcome to the forum
I love the car, and for someone so young to be Porsche-passionate about the classic models is fantastic.

Have you joined TIPEC at all? Why not pop along to your local meet anyway? Would love you to bring the car along.

Not joined as yet, will do though when the student money comes through, lol! Tax payers money is being spent on Porsches, you'll be all glad to know  Having said that I've paid enough tax myself LOL!

Tape player works too :) don't like to see modern CD Players in classic cars :)

Do you have to be a member to come to Curborough on the 9th? When is the next club night? I presume the 15th of Sept? If so please count me in :)

I beleive Curborough is fully subscribed, but the RO Central (Paul Bird) has the numbers and may well be along to confirm/otherwise.

And no, you don't have to be a member to turn up to the meets either. We welcome anyone/everyone. Next meeting is 15th September at Markfield. Hopefully, I'll see you there.

Aloha from a fellow new member. Oddly enough, my S2 came from Derby (owned in Denby).

For a person that hasn't driven long, your car list beats mine LOL (6 years driving but not quite as exciting a list). Oh and loving the string back driving gloves.
