Hi folks...

Thought i'd drop in and finally join...

Quick history - currently have a 964, had a 3.2, few Integrales, blah blah...

964 is a work in progress...

Looked like this when i bought it:

after a fair few tweaks, looks a bit more like this now...

So far:

Totally gutted of most things that weigh a fair bit - no carpets, no interior panels...
RuF Chip
Decatted
Drilled Airbox (better than a cone)
Panel Filter
Bistein HD Shocks with Gemballa Springs
Front Strutbrace
Big Red front conversion
RS Rear Discs
Recaro Profi SPG XL's
Roll Cage (weld in)
Schroth 6 point harnesses
RS Bumpers
Pink Wheels with R888's

probably some more, but i cant remember!

:thumbright: Hi and welcome to the forum. Are you a member of T.I.P.E.C.? I see you're based in Brum. Do you wanna come along to the Central region's monthly meet next Monday?

I like your Porsche, but what made you pick pink for the wheels? I've seen simular done in powder blue or orange which looked fab, but pink!?

I think you should paint your roll-cage pink too.

I bet it's a good talking point though.
:)

There is your answer :D i've seen maritime blue, viper green, guards red, GP white...

but never pink...

Interior will be completly bare, painted black, i'll paint the cage pink... its already planned, just as soon as i finish welding the cage in and removing the glue!

No - not a member of TIPEC...I'm busy next monday, i'd rather come along when the car is ready... not the same turning up in a van lol

I LOVE THE PLATE :D I hope you've had it on a track to test it out. I also love the pink (very individual!)

Love the ring, took the elise there last year and enjoyed a pax ride in a friends 997 turbo. However nothing kept up with a radical that had been trailered over for testing (not my cup of tea, but a fascinating car)

I quite understand, but alot of members don't turn up in their Porkas in the winter anyhow. I shall look forward to seeing it finished. Do you think it'll be done by the spring?

I do like the pink wheels etc, but just promise me you ain't gonna get a pink fluffy steering wheel and seat covers.

What part of Brum are you based? I'm in Kings Heath.

yeah should be done by the spring, i hope...

i'm in sheldon, so not that far from kings heath..

yes, it was me on the ramps at CG...

thats the next job - i'm replacing all the front bushes, track rod ends + gaitors, ball joints then going in for a full track geo. that take precedent over getting the interior finished at the moment, at least I can quickly bolt a seat in so i can use the car then, whether the inside is finished or not.

once the geo is done, i'll crack on with the interior, with no pink fluffy bits!

it will eventually have flat carbon door cards, flat rennline floor boards, a nice glossy black coat with pink cage, alcantara trimmed dashpads and centre console and seat centres...

i say eventually lol

If you could get hold of some Carrera seats like these... Image
and colour code the backs in Pink, I think that would look cool too.
