Just to say Hi to all, as seems to be the custom for new members. I joined earlier this month and I have already posted some pics of the old girl in Groupe South, but as they are uploaded to the forum server anyway, I'll link them in again.
So, here she is:

It's a 964 Targa, totally original, in Tahoe Blue (L81). Had an engine rebuild 3500 miles ago and the only non-original item it has is the stereo. I was surprised to find that even the relais (relays??) in the fuse box are dated "1990" (the year she was made).
Its the last aircooled 911 in the "classic" shape which, for me, defines the 911 series.
I know purists go for the coupe, bit there is something about cruising down a country lane on a bright Sunday morning with the roof off and the wind in your hair...
Anyway, looking forward to meeting some of you for an outing in the spring.

Stathis (<-- my name, which is Greek for "Stathis" :-))

Tahoe really suits the Targa.

Maybe we'll see you when South Central and the South East Region join up for a visit to Mercedes World next year?

Sounds like a good idea - I've been there before (my 12 year old had 1/2 hr driving in a B Class and loved it); Sitting at the 3rd floor balcony watching the different events is great fun. The skid circle is not bad either
The only downside was that the cafeteria was way too expensive
