Hi everyone,

My names Andy. You may know me from porsche-1 forum which my wife set up for me and gave me a shed for an avatar :( . This time I've used my minimal computer skills to set this up. Once I work out how to put in an avatar I'll try and find something witty and amusing or failing that a picture of me!

I bought myself a 944 lux earlier this year and joined Tipec (no brainer I've already saved more than the membership fee).
I was after a useable car that needed a bit of work as I like to do my own mechanics where I can. Inevitably, after reading the generous description on ebay I ended up with a working car which needed alot of work! But in its favour it has been reliable and with a bit of work I managed to get it through its MOT. So hopefully over the next few years I can return it to its former glory.

All the best

Andy

ps. thanks Gordon and Jim for sorting my log in problem.

Hi Andy.

No need to change the habit of a lifetime. Here’s an avatar for you:

Thanks for the welcome.

How did you guess Gordon? :)

My wife's itching to give me another shed avatar as well! So I'd better come up with something quick or has anyone got any other suggestions.

Also, I was thinking we could start our own repairs index as when I had my MR2 this was invaluable.

take a look at this link as an example:
http://www.mr2mk1club.com/repairsindex.html

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Andy

Hi,

Sorry its been a while, I've been busy earning a crust. As you can see my wife beat me to it and I've ended up with another shed.......oh wait, hang on a second, that's my car! Actually, it doesn't look to bad from this angle, it just shows you that looks can be deceptive (I must remember that, next time I'm on ebay!).

I take it there's no enthusiasm for a repairs index?

All the best,

Andy
