Just thought i would say hello :D ,i have been thinking of buying a 928 or a 944.
So first port of call was to find a suitable forum where i can ask loads of question and get loads of useful info.
I am new to Porsche and i do not have a clue as what not to buy or buy.
I am a Bmw fanatic and have had few in my time.
M635
635 HIGHLINES
E36 M3.
ALPINE B11 3.5.
325 MOTORSPORT CONVERTIBLES.
E30 318 IS
325 E30 SPORT.
So where do i start. 8)

Well you have come to the right place!
Hi & welcome
there are buyers guides over on the Hartech website which are pretty good and as good as the bought ones. http://www.hartech.org.uk/
Last months Classic & Sportscar had a buyers guide & long article on the 928 as well.

Thanks for the welcome,i have posted a post regarding 928s on a Bmw forum.
The response was good aside from problems with electrics being the main problem.
I also rang about 1 today being a 1984 car sounded good at first until i asked about cracks on the dash, seems porsches also suffer :(

hello and welcome, nice list of beemers, a bit of a fan of the 635 myself, i probably don't really need to tell you this but keep some of your budget for unexpected issues, 944 a bit cheaper than the 928 dependant on usage expected, good luck in your search

Hello, No experience of 928's But theres twice as much to go wrong so buying a good one is even more important. Get it inspected if your not 100% sure what your doing. Joining Tipec would be a smart move :)
