Hello everyone, My name is Will, new member is the northwest (cheshire), I have a 1976 911 Targa, I have been restoring classics for the past 15 years, started with a series 2 Land Rover, via Healy Sprites Fiat500 £ Lotus Elise and currently also have an Alfa Spider. The Porsche 911 is the car I always wanted, so last year finally got my red 911. Best described as good from far, but far from good. I am looking for a rolling restoration over the next 5 years, but for now I want to enjoy it. I really love the engineering of the 911, simple and well bolted together. Unfortunately a few issues so far such as the garage springing a water leak and flooding the car (didn’t have the roof on), no real damage done but the immobiliser went pop. Hopefully meet a few other members out and about in events around the Northwest. |
