Hi and welcome Si. Nice collection you have there, I would think the Cheshire and Staffs area near Knutsford would be your closest, but not to far up to Chorley and the North West group.

Si a lot of us on here use photobucket, under each picture you save you get an option of what you want and can do with it, the last one image is the way to put photos in threads

At the top of this page there is an "uploads" link. Click on this, browse your computer for the image you want to upload, click upload. Once uploaded, you will be given a url to your image. Highlight it, copy it, then when you post your message, paste it in between "" symbols.

Job done.

I hope this helps?

Maybe the file you was loading was to large or not a .jpg or .gif image?

Click on your URL image link after copying it to see if it works before you try and use it in your post.

I'll post another of mine, just to check. If you see it, all's fine.

Thats why we all use photobucket or similar, you can choose the size when you upload or edit it after you have uploaded and the picture is already on the web so you are not using up our sites storage, just a link to the website. But the easy thing is its all just 1 click copy and paste onto the forum, with the added benefit of you have your precious photo's stored on the interweb in case of worst case senario with your computor
