Hi All,
just renewed after letting my membership lapse for a year or so - naughty i know - anyways i have finally bit the bullet and chopped my lovely old 996 Carrera 4 Cab in for a 996 Turbo tip which i have enjoyed for about a fortnight before the old oil can fault started flashing up on the dash - luckily i knew what it was straight away, so its in at Porsche Solihull awaiting a oil pressure sender switch to be fitted - under warranty - one question that i'd like to ask your advice on is - this car has a very slight gearbox oil leak - so far not enough to drip on to my garage floor, so very light - I've looked in the service manual to see when you should change the oil in the auto box and it tells me @ 90,000 miles - however the car is 2003 with 57,500, so 17 years old with the same oil in, as far as i'm aware. Just wondered if Porsche actually state anywhere if not 90,000 miles then how many years should it be left as it could take some people 30 years to accumulate that sort of mileage ---- any ideas please

Thanking you in anticipation
