Post subject:  Hello Again from Galway
Hi All
The last time I posted on this forum was Fri 19th August 2011 - nearly 9 years ago !!

I still have my beloved US Spec 87 944 Turbo - I have her 20 years this September. She was laid up for 7 years in storage as life got in the way....!

I got going again last July and rediscovered just what a great car they really are ! Passed the NCT and the tax classification has changed from Private to Vintage - She did cost €1080 to tax but now she is €56.

Now at 33 years old she does have a few issues which I am addressing with help from our 5 year old lad who is very entusiastic ! Just like myself at his age the passion for anything mechanical was instilled early !! Both my wife and 7 year old wee girl just dont get it......!! :lol:

Few years since I was in Galway, frequent visitor to Cherrywood & Limerick though.
I wondered what the road tax would be on it. One of my colleagues there was saying my Cayenne would be 1800 Euro to tax, ouch!

Not been to Galway for a few years, but had bought tickets for the ferry to take the 968 to my buddy in Dublin the go to a few places including Galway, Clarinbridge and Morans
