Didn't realise I'd previously registered. My name is Paul and the owner of an '86 944. Have had it for about 10 years and have been slowly restoring the car for most of that time. I live in Sutton Coldfield and the car is at my work in Central Brum. The car needed mainly paint (what a job to strip everything & replace properly) and a screen which cost me more than I paid for the car! Was hoping to get on the road this year but it looks like another year is slipping away. Just a few small jobs to do but I'm sure you've all heard that before! Hi Paul, I have a 968 and I live in Walsall - why escape? Everywhere else I go is nice. The meeting is still at The Bull on the second Monday of the month. Hopefully will see you there. David |
