Hello chaps.

My name is Tomm and I am from Kent.

I have been a long term Porsche fanatic and a registered member on 911Uk for a few years despite never having the balls to cough up for a 911. Perhaps one day.

Until then I have a 1983 944 project car which I bought last May. Unfortunately I am struggling with a few aspects of the recommission and am hoping that this forum can help me out.

I bought the car as a non runner in a pretty rough state.

This is it after a few hours work. Running and less pink.

So hello.

Thanks very much for the welcome Sean.

You're just down the road from me, I am from Rainham, I have family down on the esplanade over your way so am over there quite often. Sounds like you have a (few) interesting Porsches there.

Thank you.

Yes indeed I have. Some of those links I found prior to visiting this site, however it's nice to see it all in one place. I am sure that will prove to be a worthwhile source of information, thanks for making it.

Hello.

Wow, I never expected to find anyone local on here, let alone two local members.

How do you find the Cayenne? Very nearly bought a V8 last year.

Tommy have only had it less than a week so too early to say. I have also slipped a disc in my back so pretty immobile at present. This is frustrating with a new toy on the drive

There is a Kent TIPEC group who meet at the Carpenters Arms Harlow first Monday of the month. There's also a breakfast meet at Doobies in Gillingham next Sunday.

Oh no, not what you want at all! All the best with the recovery.

I will certainly be up for the dobbies meet. It's about 5 minutes from me. However I won't be in a Porsche.

Is there a meets section of the forum with the details?

Thanks for letting me know.
