Just a quick intro as new to the board.
Having a mid life crisis and decided to get every boys dream car, Porsche
Have been looking for a while for a weekend summer car and have 2 to see this week both 1999 Boxster 2.5 triptronic, both silver with blue seats etc,
Ist 50,000 miles full service history with bills for work done over the years, full Porsche outdoor car cover, 2 owners from new and fully standard, 2 keys, all manuals, MOT Oct, 16, asking £5K and firm on price.
2nd 70,000 miles, 3 owners, service book stamped till 50,000 then serviced by family mechanic with all receipts for service parts and a shed full of receipts for work done over the years, 3 keys + master and all manuals etc, just had 4 new Pirelli P zero tires with alignment, manifold, coils, new rear plastic screen, drilled disks and pads, plugs, oil, filter, cabin filter, air filter, windscreen wipers, also has been converted to the clear headlights and rear lights so looks like 2004 model, it also comes with a hardtop and cover and has a private boxster plate. It also has an Apple i pad installed in the top part of the center console, where I guess the radio would go, this is for sat nav, also wifi diagnostic fitted used with dash commander on smart phone gives you full engine management diagnostics and readout also reads any fault codes ? no idea too smart for me LOL, asking £5,750 but open to offers and has said would except £5,300 for a quick cash sale.
Both are HPI clear and both on DVLA MOT site with the mileage correct for all the MOT's, both look good on pictures, will be viewing 1 today and 1 tomorrow.
Any advise would be most welcome in regards to your thoughts on both of these cars and what major things to look for when viewing them,
