Hi. I'm not exactly a new member, but haven't previously registered on here. I joined the Club in late 2013 at the Bristol branch and have to say that both getting a Porsche & joining the Club have been a great experience.
Previously, I could never justify the outlay for a 911, but rented one for our 30th Wedding anniversary from a small company in Reading. He mentioned he was looking to expand the business and I saw an opportunity I didn't need repeating! I bought a 911 993 which generally resides in Reading and I make a small income from it. I do use it myself, but only occasionally. This has the added benefit of it being 'special' everytime I use it. In fact, things went well enough that I bought a 911 996 Turbo last year too. Both cars are superb and different. I'm off to the Isle of Man in the Turbo with the Bristol branch in a couple of weeks. If anyone's interested, the site is porsche911hire.co.uk. We have 4 very different cars available in case anyone would like to compare them back to back before making a purchase.
